Pocklington Group Practice is a 9 partner dispensing practice located in a purpose-built, state of the art healthcare facility in Pocklington, East Yorkshire.  

Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP to join our friendly practice team to deliver first-class patient care to our c18,500 patient population.  This post is open to both experienced and newly qualified GPs.

The annual gross salary for this position would be £80,292.00 pro-rata.

Rota Administrator (Full Time – 37 hours )

We are seeking to recruit an excellent administrator to produce and manage the rotas for all clinical staff within the Practice (approximately 25 people).  A basic knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous and a willingness to undertake any necessary additional training is vital.

Applicants should have excellent organisational, computer and people skills as well as being confidential with an eye for detail.

An exciting new opportunity has arisen within our Data and Care Coordination Team.  The successful applicant will need to be enthusiastic, well organised and willing to learn and develop the role.  The purpose of the role is to work closely with PCN practices and the multidisciplinary team in coordinating all key activities including access to services, advice and information and ensuring health and care planning is timely, efficient and patient-centred.  The post-holder will act as a point of contact for families, residents and professionals for relevant patients.

The post is full time, 37 hours per week across five days, with a half day during the week and the hours of work allow for some flexibility with regards to start and finish times.

PCN Background

The York East PCN (Primary Care Network) comprises the practices of Pocklington Group Practice, Elvington Medical Practice and MyHealth Group.  Together we look after nearly 45,000 patients covering a large semi-rural area to the East of York.  This role will predominantly be based at Pocklington Group Practice but there may be a requirement to work at any of our other PCN sites from time to time.

Unfortunately we have had a number of appointments booked inappropriately.
