Welcome to Pocklington Group Practice , providing primary care for Pocklington and surrounding areas. We hope you take your time to browse our website where you will find lots of useful information about the surgery and the services we offer.
Any patient with a new, continuous cough or raised temperature (37.8°C or higher) should self isolate for 7 days. You do not need to contact NHS 111 to advise that you have done this. If you do need to contact NHS 111 please use the online service www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19; only telephone if you do not have access to the internet. For further information please see our dedicated page, located at the top of this page.
In view of the current Coronavirus pandemic we will not be offering face to face appointments without first triaging by the duty doctors. Any online bookable appointments will be telephone only.
If you do not have access to the online booking facility (Patient Access or the NHS App), please telephone the surgery, where you will be asked some basic questions by the receptionist who will then pass you to the duty doctor. We understand that it may be difficult to get through but be patient.
As a reminder, the surgery does not operate a walk-in service we operate a duty triage, please telephone 01759 302500. In view of the current situation and to protect GPs, staff and patients we are adhering to this policy rigidly.
Ear syringing, minor surgery ie, toenail removal and non-essential nursing appointments are suspended until further notice. Medication reviews and other reviews will be extended by six months, where this will not cause harm.
If you have patient online access and have a concern please message us – do not use this for an urgent medical need. If you do not have online access but have an email address please ask to be registered for online access.
Thank you for your support in protecting GPs, staff and patients.
